I had a very old and well worn tape of Billie Holiday's music that I would listen to all the time when I was growing up. I loved the sound and I could imagine myself in a dark club somewhere all dressed up listening to her sing and watching the band play. I am new to "I Cried for You" that was recorded in 1936. This was Holiday's biggest hit for the Brunswick recording company. Enjoy!
